Our range of ANZ EFTPOS terminals and online payment facilities are not only innovative and simple to use, but also utilise the latest in credit card technology including CHIP card processing, Contactless EFTPOS and online security applications such as MasterCard® SecureCode and Verified by Visa, providing businesses and customers with simple and reliable payment solutions.

Do more than just withdrawals on your ANZ ATM

The following functions are available at ANZ ATMs:

Withdrawals

Choose to withdraw sums of money up to a limit of AUD $1000.

Unless you have made special arrangements with ANZ, you can use your ANZ card to withdraw a total of AUD $1000 per day. This is a combined daily limit via ATMs and EFTPOS.

For non-ANZ customers, an operator fee applies.

Account balances

Check your available balance.

For non-ANZ customers, an operator fee applies.

Deposits
Most ANZ branches have deposit machines, which allow you to deposit cash or cheques. Cash deposits may take 1-2 working days to clear, cheque deposits may take 5-7 working days to clear.
Prepaid mobile recharge for Optus or Telstra customers

For ANZ cardholders who are also Optus or Telstra prepaid mobile phone customers, there is the convenience of being able to purchase recharge vouchers for your prepaid mobile phone while you are at an ANZ ATM.

Select “Phone Recharge and More Options” and follow the prompts. The transaction will debit your nominated account and you will be issued a voucher credit that you need to activate via your mobile phone:

  • For Optus customers, please call 555 from your mobile, press Option 2, and enter the 10-digit number you receive from the ATM to activate your recharge credit.
  • For Telstra customers, please take the Recharge Voucher from the ATM, and call 125 8888 from your mobile to activate your recharge credit on your mobile.
Change your Personal Identification Number (PIN)
For ANZ customers, change your PIN by selecting “Phone Recharge and More Options” and following the prompts.

ANZ continually upgrades the security on ANZ ATMs to improve the protection of our cardholders. On all new models, we have anti-skimming technology.
